The Festival of Flowers started in Medellin, Colombia in 1984. There are many people that participate in the festival. People came from many cities for this event. The people celebrate eveny in the streets. There is music, food, and souvenirs. They spend time with family and friends. People cook many Colombian dishes. This happens in September for a week. They have a parade of flowers and old cars and beautiful horses.I remember the spetacular flower decoretions and the people haviving fun.
